Privacy policy

WMA Creative is a photography and design studio run by Wes Armstrong, serving The Woodlands, Conroe, North Austin, Cedar Park and Georgetown, Texas. This policy explains what information we collect through wmacreative.com, our client portal at clients.wmacreative.com, and our emails and messages, and how we use it.

Information you give us: your name, email address, phone number and anything you write in our contact, booking and sign-up forms. If you book a session, we also keep the session details and your answers to our planning questionnaire, which can include the names and ages of the people being photographed.

Payments: card and bank payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number; we only see details like the card type and last four digits. If you choose to save a card for future payments, Stripe stores it securely.

Print orders: your name and shipping address.

Photos: the images we take during your session, delivered in a private online gallery.

Automatically: our site and portal use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to make forms work. We don't use advertising trackers. Our emails can tell us whether they were opened or a link was clicked, which helps us know a message arrived.

To respond to your inquiries, plan and deliver your session or project, send booking confirmations, invoices, receipts, reminders and your gallery, process payments and print orders, and improve our services.

If you join our mini-session list, tick the box to hear from us in a gallery, or have worked with us before, we may also send occasional emails about upcoming sessions and offers. Every one of those emails has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing never affects emails about your own session, invoices or gallery.

If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive text messages, we use it only to send messages about your session or project, such as booking confirmations, reminders and updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop receiving texts at any time, or HELP for help.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third parties.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not sell or share phone numbers with third parties for marketing.

We share information only with the service providers who help us run the business, and only what each one needs: Stripe (payments), Supabase and Vercel (secure hosting for our website, portal and files), our email delivery providers, Mailercloud (marketing emails, for people on our email list; it receives your name and email address, never your phone number), WHCC (our print lab, which receives your name, shipping address and the photos you order), and Google (email and calendar). We may also share information if the law requires it.

Your gallery is private and shared only with you and the people you share it with. We may show images from your session in our portfolio, website or social media only as described in your session agreement. If you'd like an image removed, just ask.

Many of our sessions include children, always with a parent or guardian, who provides any information about them. Our website isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them directly.

Galleries stay available until the date shown on your gallery. Client and payment records are kept as long as needed for our business and as required for tax and legal purposes. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, and we'll do so unless we're required to keep it.

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any of them, and stop text messages by replying STOP. Email hello@wmacreative.com for anything else.

Your information is stored with providers that use encryption and modern security practices, and access to your records is limited to the people who need it to serve you.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page.
